The second of several shots from my NYC trip. Five other girls and myself walked south from our hotel on Times Square, and these buildings are along the way. I'm not sure where we were exactly, because we took a roundabout route.
I made it sepia, adjusted for contrast, and added the border. I also have color versions, but I thought the sepia was less chaotic, allowing the viewer to see the photos' lines and detail.
This is somewhere along the way to Greenwich Village, when we were attempting to hail a cab. That took a long time. I thought the large word "bus" in the foreground looked kind of neat.
I really like this shot, mainly for the upside-down BUS. It's different than most city pictures, and it makes you stop and look, waiting for the bus to come. And good call on the the sepia; it really makes this picture what it is.
All the photos in this series have been good. I like this one the best, basically because I don't like the feeling I get from "looking up" at buildings. Dang NYC and their tall buildings!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
